I have tried to contact Miochael by text on his mobile phone, he is on a ship in the Mediterranean at this time and I haven't received a reply.  Roy

Very sad news, he was so proud of the pwsts and what it stood for. Due to unforseen  circumstances i am unable to be at the reunion but will be thinking of you all. I think it would be a nice thought that during the evening you raised your glasses to him.

My sincere condolances to Maureen on this sad occasion. "Big Al" was a lovely man, always the first to thank you for anything you did for the PWSTS, and he never stopped smiling, and I know we will all miss him. Rest in peace my friend.

The following members, with god willing, will be at Alans funeral tomorrow: Adrian STANFORD (Doc), John LOCK, Roger HEAD, Eddie DREWITT (Sharky) and Andy GALE. At Tower Hill we had a whip round for Alan and raised £100 to give to Maureen. Well done to all those concerned. I will update the forum after the funeral.
