Ive just discovered a Merchant Navy Memorial located in Battery Park New York. Those of you that have never heard of it may be interested in the following link. The memorial is quite impressive and certainly makes you stop and think.

I was in New York Three years ago, paid a visit to battery park to catch the ferry to Ellis Island & the Satue of Liberty, shame I missed this much more important memorial. Still next time I will go see it.
