DOVER Monday 3 September 2012 Merchant Navy Day Service (organised by Dover District Council) The service will be marked at the Dover Merchant Navy War Memorial, Marine Parade Dover Seafront. Please note that there is a change this year and there will be no service at Dover Town Hall. A brief service will be held to remember those who lost their lives at sea in times of war and peace. This will also be an occasion to celebrate the service of sailors who leave from our local ports. Service starts at 10:00 hrs and will end at approximately 10:30 hrs. There will be a Parade of Standards. Light refreshments will be served after the event at the Dover Marina Hotel, Dover Waterfront CT17 9BP, a short walk away. PWSTS Old Boys please let the PWSTS know if you are attending so we can organise for you to RV with other PWSTS Boys attending. __________________
