Hear My Story: Armed Forces Day Tea Party 2014 2014

 

I am writing to invite you and members from your organisation to join us for our annual Armed Forces Day commemorations in the Starboard Arena at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.  With a FREE* veterans tea tent, live music and dancing from between the World Wars, Royal Navy demonstrations of fire-fighting and bomb disposal, a harrier ****pit, family hands-on challenges and activities, a 20th century military fashion show this Tea Party promises to go with a swing! Programme highlights:

 

             FREE Veterans Vintage Tea Tent. Meet old friends and new!

             Live Music with the Three Belles & Swing Ninjas

             Challenges with Action Stations including live Royal Navy fire-fighting, bomb disposal demonstration and harrier ****pit.

             Last 100years Navy Fashion Show

             Poetry by Tongues & Grooves, James Craze

             Family activities: Balloon modelling, face painting, childrens entertainment 

             Vintage market by Love Southsea

             Free entrance to Hear My Story & Racing to War exhibitions

 

Friends and family are also welcome, though please note entrance to HMS Victory and other Dockyard Attractions are not included.
