Please find here a selection of photos taken by one of my members of the "Channel Dash" Memorial service held at Ramsgate Harbour today. At the end there was a flypast by the present 825 squadron of helicopters. Regards, Phil.
It was another good event made welcome by all. Phil did a great job as usual.
If anyone doesn't know too much about the Channel Dash have a read and see if you would go up against some of the biggest ships in any-bodies navy in an open ****pit, Swordfish bi-plane that wouldn't flash the camera's on the M1!
(I'm now waiting for someone to tell I shouldn't really be wearing an overcoat like that on parade but hopefully by then it'll be summer.)
