Sad news I'm afraid. I have just heard from his granddaughter that GORDON STRACHEN passed away just before Xmas. He will be cremated on the 17th of January at 3.30pm at Gorleston Crematorium Yarmouth. I was with him at Ingham school in 1952 and sailed with him on the ORCADES. We met several times during our retirement pursuing our hobby of antique collecting. In the photo Gordon is 1st on the left top row. Regards Dave Dunlop.
