Hi,  I am currently researching my late father's Macklin family history.
I am proud to come from quite a nautical family having several Uncles and cousins that served in the Merchant Navy.  Sadly one of my Uncles Thomas Macklin died in service 11.04.45 on the MV Panama. My father left the Merchant Navy in 1949 when he met my New Zealand mother.
I have a photo taken of himself and some of his brothers at Nautical school - I believe they went to school near Poole ?  I would love to know which one - it may have been Gravesend ?  There is also a photo of my grandfather the late Thomas Macklin (tugboat master -Mersey Liverpool).

I wonder if anyone at the Merchant Seamans Association would recognise it?  Do you think you may be able to help or suggest where I could post it?
