Have you seen that the biggest ship in the world goes past Dover this Friday (25th) morning? Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, 18,000 containers bound for Rotterdam.
I guess there's no need to learn the Rules of the Road any more, apart from the original unwritten Rule #1, Little Ships shall keep out of the way of Big Ships.
Further to that last about Maersk McKinney Moller if you go to vesselfinder.com and put her name as one word into the vessels box and click on track on map then scroll down to news and go right down to the bottom you'll find Gallery; On Board Maersk Triple-E and see some amazing pics of inside her bridge, amongst others. I reckon that bridge wing is so long you could play cricket there, under cover! But at least she's got a wheel and not a toggle but it looks smaller than the one in your car.
A couple of lines above the Gallery in News is an entry about a dead whale and the Maersk Norwich, check it out and see what you can do with a bulbous bow.
Have fun guys, see you at Tower Hill.
